Dear Mahmoud:
As I have stated earlier in this blog, I consider the expansion of Israeli settlements into the
West Bank to be Satanic in nature, funded by the ill-gotten gains of former disgruntled Soviet
Jewry and used by the current right-wing dicks as leverage.
Having said this, let me present to you a hypothetical situation for your possible future consideration.
Let us imagine that the children of Israel and their leaders will one day soon wake up to the
reality that the only way to nullify the ever growing threat to their existence from external forces
is to solve the internal root cause of such enmity, this being the current plight of you and your people.
Then let us imagine that having finally grasped the true gravity of their situation they would
then be willing to accept the giving of such settlements in the spirit of peace making. (No need
to wait for it my friend, since here comes the catch)
Would you, as leader of the Palestinian people, be willing to use said settlements as a way to
solve the thorny "right of return" issue, thus allaying Israeli fears regarding the future "Jewishness" of their Jewish state?
If you answered "yes" to my query then understand that I am thinking along the lines of a
lottery draw similar to that currently employed by overcrowded American Schools.
ie; Names of all those who wish to return are entered and names drawn until all units are
filled. End of issue. Period!
Would you consider this?
